Different varieties for different usage
Several sea buckthorn varieties are present in our plantation. They have been selected to offer fruit with various properties. The properties and nutritional values of the fruits depend on the variety, the time of harvest and the climatic conditions of the year. Every year we make specific determinations of bioactive compounds in the fruit for each variety, at accredited international laboratories. P>
It grows in the form of a tree, with a thick crown, a spur type, it breeds on annual branches and on anticipated growths. Erect annual branches, quite thick, moderately thorny, with 4-6cm spines.
